On the little island of Guam, a young girl was given permission to use the "untouchable" Mamiya camera belonging to her father. What fun! From that point on, she was hooked. Mae loved photography at a young age. Coming from a very academic culture, artistic endeavors were viewed merely as hobbies. So Mae went to school and graduated with a BA and MA, not in photography, but in Special Education. But through it all, her passion for photography never really left.

Meanwhile, in Long Beach, CA, a little boy was singing his heart out in Hollywood as the soloist with the Mitchell Singing Boys Choir. Music and the Arts were always something he enjoyed being a part of. As an adult, Michael continued to sing at his church, and even at weddings. Michael too pushed aside his passion for the arts and received his BA in Philosophy and his MA in Educational Administration.

Michael and Mae met while on a retreat in Santa Barbara. What a great combination! Two talented, artistically inclined individuals coming together .... in art and in marriage! Many years and four children later, Michael and Mae know the value and joy that marriage can bring. They love to have fun with people. They love creating art that families can enjoy for years and years.

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
